this by managing offenders and making sure they fulfill their
sentences.
As a Corrections Officer your role is
to ensure offenders complete their sentence. As part of this
you’ll set a positive example and help create opportunities
for offenders. You’ll use your excellent communication and
your life skills,and work closely with your team to manage complex
and sometimes challenging situations.
Your working environment can be
challenging, but we work together to overcome issues and your team
is always on hand to offer support and advice. Many of our team
members stay with us for a long time, engaged by the variety and new
challenges our diverse work offers.
At its core, our work is about
creating opportunities – for our people as well as offenders.
We need people of all skills and life experience to help us create
these opportunities.
